Application for tourist vouchers has started – the state gives 5,000 dinars for 100,000 people
The application of citizens of Serbia for the use of vouchers for subsidized vacations in Serbia began today at the counters of the public company “Pošta Srbije” throughout the country. Citizens will have at their disposal 100,000 vouchers with a maximum value of 5,000 dinars, which they can use in catering establishments that participate in the voucher allocation system.
A voucher of 5,000 dinars represents the maximum amount of funds that the user can use once during the calendar year for the subsidized use of accommodation services in catering facilities, regardless of the value of the provided accommodation services.
The right to vouchers is available to pensioners, the unemployed, beneficiaries of the right to an allowance for assistance and care of another person, employees with incomes not exceeding 70,000 dinars per month, military invalids, holders of agricultural holdings.
Users of vouchers for the first time can also be persons older than 65 years who are not entitled to a pension.
Vouchers can be used for at least five nights outside the city, municipality, or place of residence, as well as the place of study of the voucher user.
Currently, there are more than 3,000 catering facilities that have registered accommodation facilities for voucher users this year.
The Ministry of Tourism stated that the invitation remains open to other restaurateurs to join until the end of the campaign. The deadline for using the voucher is November 20 this year.
