New Charter Flight from Belgrade Makes Travel to Thassos Easier
Starting June 2025, travel to Thassos becomes simpler thanks to a direct charter flight from Belgrade to Kavala

As of June 20, 2025, travelers from Serbia will be able to reach Thassos much more quickly thanks to a new charter connection linking Belgrade and the city of Kavala. The flight takes about one hour, followed by a short ferry ride to the island, significantly reducing total travel time compared to previous options.

Known as the “Green Jewel of the Aegean,” Thassos offers a wide variety of attractions to suit all tastes.
Beaches like Paradise Beach and Golden Beach enchant visitors with fine sand and turquoise waters, while Giola — a natural rock pool — offers a unique swimming experience.
